Advance scouting, built from every possession.

The report

Three calls for the whiteboard. Then the proof.

Every dossier opens with three defensive keys written from the data — and every sentence is backed by a number the staff can check. Below: an actual excerpt, untouched.

Shot charts per player, five-man lineup ratings with their uncertainty, rotation windows, assist network, turnover profile, clutch record. Interactive page for the phone, print-clean PDF for the board.

Keys to defend · BBC Coburg

The season-level game plan

1 · Cut the Wenzl artery

#8 Wenzl averages 6.0 assists per game (next best on the roster: 2.7); top connections: Fasoyiro 40, Dawson 29, Höllerl 24. Deny his catch and force someone else to create.

2 · Pressure the ball

459 turnovers, 71% of them live-ball — bad passes (183) and lost handles (141) that convert to transition. Ball pressure travels against this team.

3 · Sag off the cold shooters

Help off #5 Höllerl (30% on 145 att.) toward the rim. Do not help off #4 Egger (43%) — the one true spacer.

What is inside a dossier

Thirteen sections, generated the same way for every club. Interactive page for the phone, print-clean PDF for the board. Footer lists every game excluded and every minute the data could not attribute.

01

Front sheet

One printable page for the board: verdict, three keys, the five-man unit to expect, the player reads.

02

Team profile

Pace, offensive and defensive rating, the four factors, transition and second-chance points, home/away split, after-timeout offence.

03

What they allow

The same profile from the defensive side: where opponents score on them, which shots they concede, what they take away.

04

Verdict & keys

Three defensive calls written from the data, each with the number behind it — nothing an assistant has to take on faith.

05

Roster turnover

Who left and how many of last season's points and minutes went with them; who arrived, with their profile from wherever they played.

06

Shot profile

Every attempt on a half court — team and per player — with zone shares and percentages, shown as dashes where the sample is too small.

07

Game log & quarter profile

Result by result, and how the team starts, sags or closes: per-quarter margins with standard errors, so a trend is a trend.

08

Assist network

Who passes to whom and how often — the arteries a defence can cut, and the pairs that only exist in one lineup.

09

Clutch record

Close-game possessions in the last five minutes: who takes the shot, who gets to the line, what actually happened.

10

Ball security

Turnovers by type — live-ball or dead-ball — and what share converts into transition against them.

11

Rotation depth chart

Minute windows per player per quarter: who starts, who closes, when the second unit comes in, how the rotation shortens.

12

Five-man units

Every lineup with ten or more possessions, with net rating and its uncertainty; below the threshold only raw plus/minus.

13

Season box score

Full statistics per player with a one-line read for each: foul him, wall the paint, don't help off — the tags a staff already uses.

Where games swing

Tendencies, with their error bars.

Coburg won first quarters by +3.9 per game across a season — 2.3 standard errors above zero, a real lean. Their second quarters? −0.9, within noise. We tell you which is which, so you plan against patterns, not coincidences.

Roster turnover

Last season's tape is scouting a team that no longer exists.

92%of last season's points walked out

HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim, summer 2026. Eleven rotation players left, including the primary creator. The dossier says so on page one — and then gives each arrival his last-season profile from our archive, because the league re-issues player ids on every transfer and we match them by name so nothing slips.

Höllerl from BBC Coburg (ProB Süd): 8.9 pts in 26.5 min, 5.2 threes attempted at 30% — a volume shooter there Mayer from Kirchheim Knights (ProA): 11.2 pts in 25.2 min, 4.3 threes at 33% Krajcovic from GIESSEN 46ers (ProA): 7.5 pts in 23.2 min — that team's primary creator

Arithmetic only: the arrivals with league data carried 18.0 three-point attempts and 9.7 assists per game, against 40.0 and 19.2 walking out. How a new coach uses them is not in the data.

Honesty as a feature

Numbers that admit their own uncertainty.

Coaches have been burned by confident charts. Ours are built to be checked.

No rating under 10 possessions

Lineups below the floor show raw plus-minus only. Percentages under 10 attempts render as a dash. A 100% from two games is not a number, it is noise.

Every claim carries its error

Quarter margins and lineup nets come with standard errors. A tendency is called a tendency only above 2 SE; below that we say "flat".

Every hole is named

Unplayed games, cup ties, anonymously logged matches, scorekeeper errors — each dossier lists what was excluded and why, in the footer, in plain words.

How it works

Final buzzer to your inbox.

01

Every game is archived

The moment a game ends, the official play-by-play is captured — every coordinate, every substitution, every timeout — and validated before it counts.

02

The numbers are computed

Lineups reconstructed possession by possession, ratings and tendencies aggregated across the opponent's recent games. No manual tagging, no video hours.

03

Your staff reads it Thursday

The dossier lands before game-week preparation starts. Ten minutes to read. One page to print for the board.

Coverage

Built for the leagues nobody covers at lineup level.

The big-league tools cover the top competitions and stop. Our pipeline is built on the official live data of the leagues they skip — and the analysis layer works on any league once its feed is connected.

The method

Every report obeys the same rules.

No club gets a different version.

Official data, nothing else.

League live feeds, captured at the final buzzer and validated before they count. No manual tagging, no video hours, no estimates.

Nothing is hand-edited.

The same code runs for every club, every week. If a sentence reads like a coach wrote it, that is because the number behind it allowed it.

Small samples say so.

No rating under ten possessions. Every tendency carries its standard error. When a pattern is within noise, the report says "flat" — it does not invent a story.

Every gap is named.

Excluded games, unplayed fixtures, minutes the data could not attribute: listed in the footer of every dossier, in plain words.

Built for the coaching staffs that prepare from video and memory, one level below where the big tools stop.
